Both these areas are located approximately
2 - 4 hours from Denpasar Airport. Candi Dasa on the East
Coast is now a popular and relaxing retreat that has managed
to retain its village identity. The peaceful yet active
fishing village with an array of small shops, bamboo bungalows,
and seaside restaurants gives it quaint, laid-back atmosphere.
Attractions include snorkelling, scuba diving and tours
to the Seaward Temple. The small coral-sand beach is awash
at high tide and many fringed bays are available to explore.
Lovina Beach, located on the north coast
of Bali, is also relatively unspoiled by western influences.
It is a place where the pace is quiet, serene and relaxed.
Dolphins swim into the bay each morning and whilst at
dusk, some of the most spectacular sunsets can be seen
from any of the untouched beaches.
