Indonesian laws and regulations are difficult to understand and the paper work seems endless, but Bali Bound Holidays makes all this seem easy. Bali Bound Holidays will take care of arranging everything from the ceremony to the reception, flowers and photographers.

Bali Bound Holidays Wedding Package

Each Bali Bound Holidays Wedding Package includes:

1. Providing full details of requirements for each nationality.

2. Accepting the documentation, photographs, etc and checking to ensure they are as required.

3. Completing and submitting the application forms to the Registrar and Church officials.

4. Booking and confirming the wedding ceremony on the date and time requested or as close as possible.

5. Advising the Registrar and Minister of any special requirements, such as special wording or vows.

6. Reconfirming arrangements with the Registrar and Minister prior to the ceremony.

7. Providing a written explanation detailing procedures of the wedding day and ceremony after arrival in Bali.

8. Providing a personal pre-wedding meeting if required by the couple at Bali Bound Holidays Indonesia Office. This meeting may take place any Monday to Saturday between 9am and 12 noon (an appointment is necessary).

9. Arranging a meeting with the hotel banquet manager to run through specific requirements and final preparation.

10. Attending the ceremony to ensure its smooth procedure and to act as co-ordinator / translator between the couple and the Registrar, Minister, photographer and any other persons involved.

11. Act as Witness if they have no friends travelling with them (immediate family members may not act as witnesses).

Additional costs:

> Certificate of No Impediment.
Every foreign couple choosing to be married in Bali requires a Certificate of No Impediment document. This is issued by the Consulate within Indonesia. The cost for this is $90.00 (approx) which is payable direct in Bali in Indonesia Rupiah.

Please note there is a major difference in the requirements between Protestant Church and the Catholic Church and great attention must be paid to these matters. Bali Bound Holidays will give this information at the time of receiving the enquiry so it is important that the religion of the bride and groom be advised at the initial enquiry.

Documentation required for application:

> Photocopy of details page of passports required from bride, groom and witnesses.
> Photocopy of birth certificates.
> Photocopy of divorce or death certificate if previously married.
> (5) 4 x 6cm (approx passport sized but horizontal) photographs of the couple together, head and shoulders only, looking straight ahead. (Ensure that these of good quality as they are attached to the wedding certificate.)
Additionally if possible:
> Protestant couples will require a copy of baptism certificate (if not we need a year and place of Baptism, eg: Melbourne, Australia, August 1970)
> Catholic couples must present a baptism certificate issued not more than 6 months prior to the wedding date and a "Letter of Freedom" issued by your local Parish Priest.
